- 500g parsnips
- 1/2 medium onion
- 1tsp garlic paste
- 1tbsp honey
- 1tsp curry powder
- Chicken stock cube
- 750ml boiling water approx
- Peel, chop and shallow fry parsnips until starting to brown
- Peel, chop and fry onion until soft. Add garlic paste, mix and fry for no more than a minute being careful not to burn paste.
- dissolve stock cube in 500ml boiling water and add to soup maker along with the honey and curry powder.
- Top up to ‘Minimum’ line with water. Run ‘Smooth’ programme.
Made 3 x 390g approx portions.
